The Kenyan Charge

Written by Bish Bash Bosh at 14:28 14/4-2014

After a slow start to life in the cycling world, the number 1 Kenyan cycling team has rocketed up the rankings in recent weeks. Most notably in the highly rated Lessi - Lessi, achieving a historic 1-2. Lead by Mr Bish, Bish Bash Bosh are the high flyers in division 9 and now only need another 13 points to make the transition from mundane mediocrity in division 9 to cycling greats in division 8.

The team entered last weekend with big aspirations, entering 4 races, and the results they achieved dazzled beyond belief. Viken, Hassel and local boy Chemabwai were the scorers with a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd, 4th and 8th.

The mastermind behind the teams recent charge, Mr Bish, won a crucial transfer battle with Willberforce in the early stages of this season. With Willberforce literally milliseconds away from securing a deal that would have surely secured their team promotion after promotion, Mr Bish swooped in like a preying eagle on a wounded lamb and grasped the highly rated rider straight from his opponents clutches. So close, yet so far for the distinctly average English team who are still yet to win a race.

The rider everyone is talking about is the young Norwegian Nikolai Viken, with results in almost every race he's entered, this formidable Norwegian powerhouse has taken division 9 by storm. With his team mate and co-captain by his side, Viken and Hassel are a force to be reckoned with and for this reason the team are expecting big things after their current rest period. The future is most certainly bright for the boys from Kenya!
